A Gesture of Care
The word Kafuné comes from Portuguese. It describes the gentle gesture of running your fingers through someone’s hair — a small, intentional act of affection and connection.
This simple idea became the soul of our café. After spending time in Brazil, I wanted to bring that feeling of warmth and care to the Mediterranean coast. I imagined a space where you can slow down, breathe, and feel genuinely welcome.
From an Idea to a Community Hub in Nerja
Kafunè was born in Nerja with a clear vision: to create an environment where people feel good just being. We wanted to build a meeting point for locals, travelers, and coffee lovers who appreciate the simple, well-made things in life.
Today, Kafunè is more than a brunch spot. It is a growing community where people share fresh food, drink exceptional specialty coffee, and stay a little longer.
